Korean actor Lee Jung Jae, who is known worldwide for his role in the global Netflix hit Squid Game, has been accused of serious fraud allegations.

The popular Korean actor and the former CEO of WYSIWYG Studios, Park In Gyu have been accused of fraud by Kim Dong Rae, CEO of the drama production company RaemongRaein.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station has confirmed the news, revealing that they are investigating a complaint filed against the actor and the former CEO of WYSIWYG Studios, under the Specific Economic Crimes Act. As per the reports, the case has been under investigation since June.
Kim accused Park and Lee of making false claims and misleading him. He mentioned that the actor and the former CEO convinced him that their involvement as major shareholders would be highly beneficial for the company's growth. Believing them, Kim transferred his shares to them. However, now Kim hasaccusedthem of trying to remove himfrom the company's management after acquiring the shares.
Kim has also shared thatdespite agreeing to joint management in a contract, Lee and Park are not following what they have promised. Moreover, he has also accused them of trying toacquire another listed company, Chorokbaem Media.
Responding to these accusations, Lee Jung Jaw has accused Kim of making false accusations against him. The actor's legal team has stated that everything wasclearly mentioned in the contract, that is in question.
The investigation is ongoing, with both Lee and Park expected to be questioned by the police soon.
The case has dominated headlines due to Lee Jung Jae’s involvement. The actor is well-known for his role in Netflix's show Squid Game.
Season 2 of the show will release on December 26 on the streaming giant.
