Actor Nithya Menon said the kind of work she has explored in Hindiis "just the tip of the iceberg" and she would love to work with directors likeVikramaditya Motwaneif given a chance. She also stated that Lootera is her all-time favourite film.

The actor knows Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English and has done films in all these languages. "I would love to collaborate with directors and writers who really see the potential in me and who are able to give me something that brings out my potential as an actor. I know there are so many amazing directors in Hindi... I feel like it's just the tip of the iceberg that I've done now. There's still so much that I can do, and I really hope it happens," Menen said, in a PTI interview.

When asked if there’s a wishlist of people she would like to work with, Menen named the works of Motwane and the projects he has worked on so far, such as Udaan,Lootera, and TV shows Sacred Games and Jubilee.

She said, "At the top of my mind is Vikramaditya Motwane. And it comes to my mind because Looterais like my all-time favourite film. I always consistently loved everything he made. I remember always looking for, 'Who's the director, and then seeing his name'. He tells real stories. He tells them effectively, cinematically and brilliantly. I think that would be exciting for me if I could do it.”

Menen recently got the National Film Award for Best Actress for Thiruchitrambalam, sharing the honour with Manasi Parekh, who won the award for Kutch Express.

She considers the National Awardthe ultimate recognition of artistic merit. According to Menen, her success across multiple film industries is because of her bold approach to acting, though this has occasionally made her turndown roles that didn't align with her artistic vision, and it drew her some criticism.
