Halle Bailey believes in travelling in comfort. She recently opened up about her must-have travel essentials, favourite destinations and bucket list locations.

As a self-described "germaphobe," Bailey revealed her go-to hack for making her trips more pleasant: sanitizing wipes. “I have to bring all of my sanitizing wipes,” she shared. Bailey also values her privacy while navigating busy airports, hence she likes to wear a mask for both health and discretion.

Comfort is key for Bailey when it comes to airport fashion. “I have to wear my big shades, I have to wear only huge sweats — I have to be comfortable,” she told People.

Bailey, who has teamed up with the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase for their new Bold Chat Court contest, also spoke about some of her favourite travel destinations. "I love Saint Lucia. I love, love going there," she said. "I would also say the Maldives. I want to go back so bad... Bora Bora was beautiful too."

While she's already visited some of the world’s most stunning locations, Bailey has a few dream destinations still on her list. “I really, really want to go to Ghana. I hear so many great things about there,” she said. Greece and Bali are also on her radar, with Mykonos topping her list of must-see spots.

Travel has been an integral part of Bailey’s life since her early career days in the entertainment industry. Growing up in Georgia, she recalls her first trip to Los Angeles for the pilot season at the age of five or six. "It granted me opportunities to be able to be in L.A.," she said.

While work keeps her schedule busy, Bailey has a few more trips planned before the end of the year. She’s set to visit New York and London for work but hopes to sneak in a vacation to Mexico before the weather turns cold. “I really, really want to go back to Mexico at some point before it starts getting too cold,” she said.
