Lady Gaga is suffering from a severe respiratory infection, and due to this, she has cancelled her Montreal concert. No information has been shared on whether she will reschedule her concert or initiate refunds for fans.
In what has been sad news for all fans of Lady Gaga, her Montreal concert is no longer happening. Hours before taking the stage, the superstar announced that she would be cancelling her performance due to a respiratory infection.
The Grammy-winning singer made the announcement just three hours before she was set to perform several of her hit songs.
Lady Gaga cancels concert in Montreal
The Grammy-winning singer cancelled her third and final performance at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, on April 6, due to a worsening respiratory infection.
Taking to her Instagram, the singer announced she's heartbroken to cancel the show due to a respiratory infection, which she has been battling for the past few days.
"I’m so sorry to share that I’m unable to perform tonight and have to cancel the show," the "Abracadabra" singer began her statement. “I've been fighting a respiratory infection for the past few days and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s gotten worse.”

Sharing further, Gaga said that due to ill health, she will not be able to give the quality performance today. "My doctor has strongly advised me not to perform today and to be honest I don’t think I could give you the quality of a performance today that you deserve," she continued.
At the time Gaga announced the cancellation, she did not confirm whether the show would be rescheduled or address refunds for concertgoers.
Adding that she's absolutely heartbroken and so sorry, Gaga wrote, "I know how deeply disappointing this is, and I truly could not feel worse about letting you down," Gaga wrote. "I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to be there and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful.''
Before the last and final performance on April 6, the Happy Mistake singer priviously performed in the city on Thursday, April 2, and Friday, April 3, as a part of her Mayhem Ball Tour. She has priviously performance in Canada.
With the cancellation of her recent concert, there is no confirmation on whether she will perform her upcoming shows in Saint Paul, Minnesota and at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
