Renowned K-pop singer Park Bo Ram is no more. The 30-year-old star, who was known for lending her voice to popular Korean dramas, suddenly passed away on the night of April 11 in South Korea.

Park Bo Ram's death was confirmed by her agency XANADU Entertainment.

In the statement released, the agency said, “This is XANADU Entertainment. We are here to share sorrowful and heartbreaking news. Park Bo Ram suddenly passed away late at night on April 11. All of the artists and executives at XANADU Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased with great sadness. It is even more heartbreaking that we have to tell you this sudden news to all of the fans who support Park Bo Ram. The funeral will be held after consulting with the bereaved’s family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased so she may rest in peace.”

As per the reports, the South Namyangju Police Station revealed that Park Bo was with her friends, enjoying drinks last night. At around 9:55 pm, she went to the bathroom. However, when she didn't return for some time. Her friends went on to check on her, where they found her unconscious over the sink. She was taken to the hospital, where she waspronounced dead.

However, the exact cause of her death has not been confirmed.

The police are currently investigating the sudden death of the singer.

Park Bo Ram was a well-known name in the South Korean Industryand she was about to complete 10 years in the industry today. To mark the big milestone of her career, she released a duet track, "I Hope," with Huh Gak. She was also set to release her studio album this year.

Widely loved for her soothing voice, she started her career on the singing show SuperStar K2 in 2010, where she garnered immense praise for her talent. However, she made her solo debut in 2014 with the song, ''Beautiful.''

In her over a decade-long career, she has sung songs like ''Please Say Something'', ''Even Though It Is a Lie'', ''Two Worlds'', ''Celepretty'', ''Sorry'', ''Pretty Bae'' and more.
