With film shooting and production work slowly picking up in different parts of the world as lockdown eases amid COVID-19 outbreak, Hollywood star Keanu Reeves has something to say on his upcoming film, ‘Matrix 4’.

The popular film franchise will be coming back with Keanu Reeves’ Neo after almost two whole decades. 

In a new interview, Keanu Reeves opened up about joining the franchise and reprising his role. He was quoted, “Lana Wachowski wrote a beautiful script and a wonderful story that resonated with me. That’s the only reason to do it. To work with her again is just amazing. It’s been really special, and the story has, I think, some meaningful things to say, and that we can take some nourishment from.”

On the script, the actor was quoted, “When it was brought to me in the way that it was brought to me, with incredible depth and all of the integrity and artistry that you could imagine, I was like, ‘This is a gift.’ It was just very exciting.”

The film was to start rolling this year but the production of the film was brought to a halt as a result of the pandemic. However, the film is still expected to release in May of 2021.
