Kartik Aaryan on being labelled as an outsider, says he had fear that ‘any Friday may be my last’

Kartik Aaryan has become a household name in India's showbiz world. Hailing from the small city of Gwalior, the actor started his journey in Bollywood from scratch, and in a very short time span has managed to carve a niche with his work.
Despite earning stardom, name and fame, one tag that has continuously been attached to the actor is "outsider."
Aaryan is currently gearing up for his next release Chandu Champion, and while promoting the biographical drama, the actor discussed his journey, and how despite all the success the fact that never change is that he's will never be an insider.
Expressing his views on the term outsider being attached with him, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star told Hindustan Times, “It is what it is.”

“When I started my journey in Bollywood, I didn’t know anyone here. And the way it is going on to date, things are the same. Everything’s the same for me. Some Fridays are successful and some are not. But the fact remains that I have never been an insider,” Kartik added.
Talking about his fear, the actor said, “It is a mindset which is going to stay with me. Till date, I believe that any Friday can be a last Friday also. This is the echo that keeps on going in my mind. Ke kahin mera pack up na ho jaaye (I hope it’s not a pack up for my career)”.
Further, the actor emphasised that he didn't have any other backup apart from acting. “Maybe, somewhere down the line, I (know that I) don't have any other backup. I don't have anywhere else to go, and I might not get a second or a third chance. This is the fear that is constant in my head,” he said.
Kartik's Next Chandu Champion
Kartik's next Chandu Champion is an inspiring story of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist.
Directed by Kabir Khan of the Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 83 and Ek Tha Tiger fame, the movie tells the struggles and triumphs of Murlikanth, who won a gold medal in the 1972 Summer Paralympics in Heidelberg, Germany, for the 50 m freestyle swimming.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the sports drama is set to release on June 14.
Apart from Kartik, the film stars Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis.
