Dia Mirza is the latest Bollywood star to make her foray into digital space. In Zee 5's new web show, 'Kaafir' Mirza plays a single mother who has been labelled as a terrorist and put behind bars. Her daughter is born inside the jail only. Popular TV actor Mohit Raina plays a journalist, who is willing to fight her case and get her out of jail.
The series has been written by Bhavani Iyer, who has also written 'Raazi'. Based on a real-life story, the series is being directed by Sonam Nair.
Mirza took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the trailer of the series which looks both gripping and intriguing.

From the looks of the trailer, the series appears to an emotional tale of survival in a disputed land like Kashmir.
Kaafir starts streaming on ZEE5 from 15th June.
