
Tito Jackson, brother of the late king of pop Michael Jackson, has died. Tito reportedly breathed his last on Sunday (Sep15) after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was 70.
Tito was one of the founding members of his iconic family band the Jacksons 5, which comprised of his late brother Michael, Jemaine, Jackie and Marlon.
Tito's death was first reported by Entertainment Tonight. Later, Tito's nephew Siggy confirmed the news to People.

No cause of death has been revealed as of now. However,Steve Manning, a longtime friend of the Jackson family and former managersaid that he believed Tito suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma, as per ET reports.
No statement has been issued by the family yet.
Tito was very active in his career. Over the summer, he performedwith brothers Jackie Jackson and Marlon Jackson as The Jacksons in the shows scheduled in Scotland, California and England. His most recent performance was on Sept. 8 in Surrey, England.
Tito along with his brothers dominated the headlines in the late ’60s and early ’70s, with a string of hits "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There."

He was one of the original members of The Jackson 5, which also had Jackie, Michael, Jermaine Jackson and Marlo. He began his solo career in 2003 performing as a blues musician. In 2017, he joined The BB Kings Blues Band to tour together.
In his career spanning over a decade, he was nominated thrice for three Grammy Awards. Tito's band was alsoinducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Jackson's death has come as a shock to his fans, friends and bandmates.
Former Jackson 5 drummer Jonathan 'Sugarfoot' Moffett in a post wrote, "There is great, great sadness in my heart, spirit, and soul tonight. My wife and I just left and walked out of a movie we were watching at a theatre just now….as she received a text from a very close friend….that my brother in heart and spirit, Tito Jackson has just passed away.''
