Kartik Aaryan is reportedly in Goa on a holiday, but not alone. Unverified sources on social media have claimed that the Bollywood actor is vacationing in Goa with a mystery girl. Aaryan has never openly spoken about any of his relationships, even though he has been linked to many of his leading ladies. But this time it's not an actress, but an apparent mystery girl who is reportedly studying in the UK. Many claim she is not a day older than 19.

Kartik Aaryan’s beach vacation with mystery women

Eagle-eyed fans spotted uncanny similarities in the beach photos that Kartik has shared on Instagram with the ones shared by the mystery woman, who has been identified as Karina Kubiliute.

Screenshots shared on Reddit

Kartik shared a photo of himself relaxing on a beach bed, enjoying a sunset. Soon after, a Reddit user shared Karina’s photos, also enjoying the sunset on a beach bed. The similar beach towels and volleyball court in the background in both images are a giveaway away and fans have been speculating ever since about a possible romance. Interestingly enough, screenshots began doing the rounds of the actor 'following' Karina on Instagram. However, as the post on Reddit went viral, someone on X pointed out that Kartik had swiftly unfollowed her. Karina is still following Kartik on the app.

Bombay Velvet (2015) was one of Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious films, and the filmmaker once again revisited its failure, revealing an absurd explanation that came out from post-release audience research. He said that the studio’s research team concluded that Ranbir Kapoor’s hairstyle was one of the reasons audiences stayed away from the film.

Also Read: Genelia D’Souza shares why she quit meat and adopted a vegan lifestyle

Anurag Kashyap on Ranbir Kapoor’s hairstyle

During a recent interview with Screen, the director opened up on the feedback he received after Bombay Velvet’s release. "The debacle of the film was such that when they did the research, the shocking thing was, people didn’t like Ranbir’s hair. They said that audiences got upset with Ranbir’s hair because he had curled it up," he said. "It was a choice that we all made; we designed it like that. And when I heard this, I was like, that’s the most absurd reason I can hear. One can say, ‘Oh, the film didn’t work for me,’ but coming up and saying hair didn’t work, and because of that it didn’t get an opening, was absurd."

Also Read: Ikkis BO: Dharmendra's final film sees spike on day 3, mints THIS much

About Bombay Velvet

The film was released in 2015 and was Kashyap's first large-scale project after years of critically acclaimed independent films. Bombay Velvet was based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables and starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Karan Johar in the key roles. Bombay Velvet (2015) was one of Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious films, and the filmmaker once again revisited its failure, revealing an absurd explanation that came out from post-release audience research. One can say, ‘Oh, the film didn’t work for me,’ but coming up and saying hair didn’t work, and because of that it didn’t get an opening, was absurd." Rahman’s music, which becomes the emotional voice of Gandhi Talks. In the absence of spoken words, Rahman’s score acts as the narrator, guiding the audience through the film’s emotional landscape. His music transforms silence into a powerful, immersive experience elevating the film to a global, festival-ready canvas.

Speaking about the vision behind the film, director Kishore Belekar shared,
“Gandhi Talks is a film about trusting silence. As Indian cinema marks over a century of storytelling, we wanted to return to the medium’s most elemental form pure performance and emotion. The actors embraced that vulnerability completely, and A.R. Rahman’s score became the film’s voice. With Zee Studios’, Meera Chopra’s support, we were able to make a bold, honest piece of cinema.”

Set to release on 30th January 2026, Gandhi Talks promises to be a cinematic experience that speaks volumes without saying a word.
