<p> </p><p>“I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today—they are from before the brain stroke happened,” Rahul wrote.</p><p> </p><p>The actor revealed that he is dealing with legal matters that require significant expenses.</p><p>The actor continued, “If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others.”</p><p> </p><p>The actor also stated that he has intended to stay active after he suffered a brain stroke.</p><p>“And after the brain stroke, it is important for me to stay active. I want to work for as long as I am alive. It keeps my mind active and gives me the sense of purpose and responsibility that I am still working today. <h2>Who is Rahul Roy?</h2><p>Those who grew up in the late 1980s or early 1990s would be familiar with Rahul Roy. The actor became an overnight sensation with his debut film Aashiqui, which was helmed by Mahesh Bhatt and also starred Anu Aggarwal. The film was released in 1990, and its success made Rahul an overnight star.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After the initial success, Rahul was seen in Junoon (1992), Dilwale Kabhi Na Hare (1992) and Gumrah (1993). <p>Years after haunting audiences with the world of Tumbbad, the makers have officially announced the sequel to the folk horror thriller. In an exciting development, actor Sohum Shah will collaborate with the exceptionally talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The sequel comes seven years after the first film was released in theatres in October 2018. Upon its initial release, the film did not perform well at the box office. However, it had its golden moment when it shattered several records during its re-release in 2024.</p><h2><br>Sohum Shah’s Tumbbad 2 release: Check the date</h2><p>After announcing the sequel, Shah revealed that the film is set to hit theatres on December 3, 2027. Taking to Instagram, the makers dropped the first poster of the movie along with the release date. Directed by Adesh Prasad, the second part is being produced by Shah under his banner Sohum Shah Films in collaboration with Pen Studios.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Sharing the poster, they wrote,''A sinful past, an ominous future. Now, on Wednesday, the makers announced that the film’s release has been postponed again. The note read, “There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.”</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The makers asserted that the film’s delay in release had nothing to do with its shoot status.&nbsp;</p><p>“Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date. In a strategic move, the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups have officially pushed their release date back, citing a need to align with global distribution partners following a massive response at CinemaCon. The film was earlier slated for a June 4 release. 

The wait just got longer. Yash starrer Toxic will not be releasing in June 2026. The film’s release has been postponed one more time. Toxic was earlier scheduled to release in March on the same day as Dhurandhar: The Revenge. It was postponed to June 4 release as makers pointed to the tensions in the Gulf region owing to the Iran-US war. Now, on Wednesday, the makers announced that the film’s release has been postponed again. With the shift in release date, Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai's release date too has undergone a change Toxic release postponed Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the big development on social media, posting a statement issued by the makers of Toxic. The note read, “There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide.” The makers asserted that the film’s delay in release had nothing to do with its shoot status. “Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date. Toxic will come to theatres across the world soon.”

Set against real events, Bandar’s story is about a fading celebrity accused of rape, and tackles themes of institutional injustice, the voices of the disenfranchised in the courtroom, and the failure of justice.
