Sonu Nigam washes Asha Bhosle’s feet at an event in Mumbai
Indian singer Sonu Nigam is garnering a lot of love for his heartwarming gesture towards veteran singer Asha Bhosle. On Friday (June 28), a grand book launch event of Bhosle's biography, "Swarswamini Asha," was organised in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by A-listers such as actor Jackie Shroff, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar among others.

A clip from the eventhas gone viral on social media that shows singer Sonu Nigam's heartwarming gesture towards the legendary singer Asha Bhosle.
Shared by news agency ANI, the clip showsSonu sitting near Asha Bhosle's feet on the stage as a mark of respect. Further, he washesAsha's feet, much to her astonishment. He then dries her feet with a towel. Sonu is casually dressed in a yellow kurtawith a white pyjama. While, Bhosle is wearing a white silk saree with floral prints and has accessorised her look with pearl jewellery.
The renowned singer then bows down to Asha before leaving the stage.

Later at the event, Sonu gave a speech hailing Asha's decades-long career and her immense contributions to Indian music. He also remembered Indian singer and Asha's late sister, Lata Mangeshkar.
