Watch: Actress Sushmita Sen performs 'dhunuchi' dance as Navratri celebrations kick off

On the day of Ashtami of Navratri, former Miss India Sushmita Sen celebrated the festive day with her kids by grooving to 'dhunuchi' dance at apandalin Bandra, Mumbai.

The actress shared a video on her Instagram handle wherein the trio were found offering prayers to the goddess.

"Dhunuchi naach . What a divine feeling dancing with my babies in celebration of shakti May the incense burn strong and spread positivity, love, hope, and kindness where ever it flows, " read the caption of the video shared by Sushmita Sen.

She looked beautiful in a beige saree while the daughters looked equally gorgeous in their traditional blue and yellow dresses.

She also performed an aarti byholding an earthen pot full of camphor and coconut husk and performed for the crowd with her daughters Renee and Alisah - who matched her steps gracefully.

'Dhunuchi dance' is a ritualized form of dance where the worshipper offers prayer by holding an incense stick burner.

The two daughters were adopted by Sushmita in 2000(Renee) and 2010 (Alisah).
