Why Pakistan boycotting India match in T20 World Cup Pakistan's participation in the tournament was uncertain amid the drama over Bangladesh refusing to play in India over security concerns. After ICC replaced Bangladesh with Scotland for the tournament, PCB wasn't happy at all. The Paksitan Board, however, announced their participation in the tournament but decided to boycott India match - argubaly the biggest cricket fixture in world cricket.

SLC has asked the PCB to consider the financial loss of the India boycott. The island country also reminded Pakistan of support shown when the South West Asian country wanted to resume cricket post 2009 terror attack o the touring Sri Lankan team members.
