TVS Motor Company has launched the Apache RR 310, a refreshed motorcycle in the super-premium sports motorcycle category, featuring the company’s racing pedigree and innovative features. This new model echoes the monster bike built for the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) series and can bring forth improved capacity and innovation.
The Apache RR 310 was first launched in 2017 and has received numerous updates in its latest version. It will be 11% more performing than its predecessor with sophisticated features such as the Bi-Directional QuickShifter, RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control), TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), Cruise Control, as well as aerodynamically designed winglets. This particular motorcycle is developed with the aim of providing enthusiasts with an exceptional ride with the element of style, speed, strength, and balance.
Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium at TVS Motor Company, showcased his enthusiasm towards the launch saying, “The new TVS Apache RR 310 offers the super-premium sports motorcycle segment a new definition by integrating our extensive racing knowledge and success from the ARRC motorcycles.
Built with a supersport riding posture, Apache RR 310 is stylish yet dynamic with race inspired full fairing and ergonomic optimizations. It has a reverse inclined 5 times DOHC engine which delivers horsepower 38 PS at 9800 rpm and maximum torque 29 Nm at 7900 rpm. The car’s engine has been upgraded with a new air intake system and a forged aluminum piston to improve power output. The quickshifter operates in both up and down directions with a lot of ease to deliver superb gear shifting experience.
Perhaps the most noticeable addition is the sculpted winglets, which give three kilograms of downforce, giving the car better stability and handling at higher velocities. They also incorporate first-in-segment Cruise Control and RT-DSC with the 6D IMU for added safety features such as Cornering ABS, Traction Control, and Wheelie Control. The new vertical 5” TFT race computer allows 4 way control and is compatible with the TVS Connect App for full data control.
The Apache RR 310 will be available in two standard variants and three Build To Order (BTO) options. The standard variants are priced as follows: INR 2,75,000 for the Red (without quickshifter), INR 2,92,000 for the Red (with quickshifter), and INR 2,97,000 for the Bomber Grey. BTO customization options include the Dynamic Kit at INR 18,000, the Dynamic Pro Kit at INR 16,000, and the Race Replica Colour at INR 7,000.
The Dynamic Kit offers adjustable suspension and a TPMS, while the Dynamic Pro Kit focuses on enhanced safety with Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control. With these new offerings, the TVS Apache RR 310 aims to set a new benchmark in the super-premium sports motorcycle category.
