The video of the assault surfaced on social media and has been widely shared online, sparking outrage as no one seemed to help the woman, who appears to be of Indian origin.

Reportedly, the man grabbed the woman&rsquo;s water bottle and splashed water on her face. He then shook her violently and slammed her into the walls of the transit shelter. The attacker fled the scene without her phone, following which the woman called the police.

&ldquo;Thanks to the support of witnesses in the area &amp; to the swift actions of our members, we were able to make an arrest within 25 minutes of this incident,&rdquo; said Calgary Police Service District 1 Inspector Jason Bobrowich. &ldquo;These types of incidents cause concern in the community &amp; will not be tolerated in our city.&rdquo;
The police also said that they don&rsquo;t believe the attack to be racially motivated. &ldquo;However, their Diversity Resource Team is engaging with those in the community who are impacted by this incident,&rdquo; the statement added.
The victim was offered support and is respectfully asking for privacy, the police said.

"Shortly after the Egyptian conquest of Nubia, Tombos was constructed by the Egyptians in what was Nubian territory to facilitate colonial control," the team wrote in the study.
<h2>Tombos in Sudan</h2>
Tombos has tombs built for the wealthy whose bodies were placed there after they died, with small pyramids built on top of them. The team studied 110 skeletons at these tombs. To know who were the people buried there, the scientists analysed the points the muscles and ligaments attached to the bone.

They wrote that for people who do hard labour, the muscles and ligaments require a stronger mode of attachment. "This can result in distinct crests and ridges on the bone at the point of attachment", also known as entheseal changes.
Those who had a low rate of entheseal changes were supposedly high-status individuals who worked in bureaucracy and didn't do a lot of labour. However, the researchers found bodies with a high rate of entheseal change, suggesting that the pyramids also housed people of lower class who did laborious work.

This finding led the researchers to believe that the pyramids were not only for the rich, and lower-class labourers were also buried next to them. "Social classes were not segregated, but instead that a hard labouring non-elite were buried alongside an elite who avoided tasks that led to entheseal wear," the team wrote in the study.&nbsp;

In a weird incident at an airport in America, a woman literally shoved her dog into a small carrier to be able to board her flight, the New York Post reported. A video on social media shows the woman and her dog sitting at the flight gate waiting to get on the plane. An airport employee approaches the woman and tells her that she needs to put her dog into a carrier.
The woman then pulls out a small pink carrier, picks up her dog and puts it inside. Almost half of its body is still outside as she puts on the flap. She then pushes the dog's head inside and zips up the carrier. In the video, the dog seems reluctant to get in but has no choice.
The airport employee is shocked to see what she has done and tells her that the dog should be able to comfortably move in the carrier. However, the carried is clearly too small for the dog to fit in properly, let alone move around. &nbsp;&ldquo;You can&rsquo;t fly like that. The dog has to be able to move a full circle, which she cannot do in that carrier," the airport employee says.

Meanwhile, others were just annoyed to see that some people bring their dogs everywhere. &ldquo;Can y&rsquo;all leave y&rsquo;all dogs at home or drive? In the restaurants, grocery stores, planes and trains. It&rsquo;s out of hand,&rdquo; a comment read.

In another horrific incident, a woman tried to flush her dog in the toilet at the Orlando International Airport. Officials told her that she didn&rsquo;t have the proper paperwork to allow the dog on the plane. So she went into the women's toilet and drowned the dog. The police were called after airport staff found a dead dog in a women&rsquo;s restroom.
They found the woman's name and contact information on a set of dog tags and accessories in the bathroom trash. Alison Lawrence was arrested and later charged in connection with the incident. The dog was a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer.
