US presidential election 2024: Kamala Harris to give interview to Fox News, may also join Joe Rogan's podcast

Democratic presidential candidate and current United States (US) Vice President Kamala Harris would sit for an interview with Fox News and might also join the famous Joe Rogan podcast (The Joe Rogan Experience), American media reported on Tuesday (Oct 15).

Harris would be interviewed by Fox News anchorBret Baier on Wednesday in Pennsylvania. This would be herfirst sit down with the network, and her first interview with a news outlet outside of her ideological comfort zone since becoming the Democratic nominee.

She has previously granted interviews to CNN, CBS' "60 Minutes," ABC's "The View," and Howard Stern's radio show.

Harris' likely appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast

Citing sources, areport by the news agency Reuters on Tuesdaysaid that Harris' campaign officials, met withRogan's team this week but an appearance has not been confirmed yet.

The report said that the interview (with Rogan) would offerHarrisan opportunity to make her case to his followers, as she works to shore up support with male voters and Black men in particular.

A day earlier, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump indicated he was planning to join Rogan's podcast before the election on November 5.

Trump and Rogan have sparred in the past. As recently as August, Trump took a shot at Rogan on the social media platform Truth Social but later called him a "good guy."

Latest polls: Harris losing ground to Trump in election

In the latest news in the run-up to the US presidential election, latest polls have suggested that Harris is losing ground to Trump.

Harris’s lead over Trump has narrowed or vanished outright as the race for the White House approaches the final stretch, three polls published on Sunday said.
