Tennessee US Presidential Election 2024: Tennessee, along with 49 other US states will go to the polls on November 5, 2024, to elect the 47th president of the country. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will compete for 11 electoral votes in the state.
Tennessee, is a landlocked state in the Southeastern region of the United States. It is the 36th-largest by area and the 15th-most populous state with 4,652,300 registered voters as of June 1, 2024. The state going to the poll on November 5 has 11 electoral votes and is a Republican stronghold for the last 24 years.
Tennessee once favoured the Democrats but the tide turned in 2000, when the then-Vice President Al Gore lost his home state to Republican George W. Bush. Since then it has voted for the Republicans. Trump won in 2020 by a 23 point margin, according to AP.
Tennessee will elect one member to the USSenate in the November 5, 2024 election. Republican Marsha Blackburn is pitted against against Democratic state Rep. Gloria Johnson.
Voters will elect 9 candidates to serve in the USHouse from each of the state's 9 USHouse districts.

The Republican nominees for the House in Massachusetts are - Diana Harshbarger (Incumbent - Congressional district 1), Tim Burchett (Incumbent - Congressional district 2), Charles J. Fleischmann (Incumbent - Congressional district 3), Scott DesJarlais (Incumbent - Congressional district 4), Andy Ogles (Incumbent - Congressional district 5), John Rose (Incumbent - Congressional district 6), Mark Green (Incumbent - Congressional district 7), David Kustoff (Congressional district 8), Charlotte Bergmann (Congressional district 9).
