Russia on Sunday (Nov 17) launched one of the largest air strikes on Ukraine, which as per Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky consisted of 210 missiles and drones, all allegedly targeting civilian infrastructure.
Taking to X, Zelensky said, "This morning began with one of the largest Russian strikes on Ukraine. 210 missiles and drones, including aeroballistic and hypersonic missiles, as well as dozens of Shahed drones, were launched. All of them targeted civilian infrastructure—critical facilities like power plants and transformers."
We respect India's territorial integrity: New Zealand on Khalistan referendum
In the aftermath of the so-called Khalistani referendum, the New Zealand government has said that it "respects and recognises" India’s "sovereignty and territorial integrity". Over the weekend, at Auckland’s Aotea Square, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) held a referendum that aimed to carve out a sovereign state from India's northern state of Punjab.
Baba Siddique murder case: Two more accused sent to police custody
Mumbai's Killa Court (Esplanade Court) on Sunday (Nov 17) sent two more accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, to police custody until November 21. The two men, identified as Salman Vohra and Akashdeep Singh, are alleged to have played significant roles in the plot, with Vohra accused of financing the operation and Singh implicated for corresponding with another person regarding the crime.
