Siri, an application which uses voice recognition and detection, is demonstrated on the iPhone 4S.

A 13-year-old teenage boy in Indiana was charged with intimidation after he told Apple's digital assistant Siri that he had a plan of shooting at a school and later posted a screenshot of Siri's reply online.

As per the report the teenage boy was held at the Porter County Juvenile Detention Centre.

Valparaiso Police said the boytold Siri, ''I am going to shoot up a school'' to which Siri created a list of nearby schools.

Investigators say they don't believe the boy posed a threat or had access to weapons.

The screenshot was originally posted online on January 31. The report came to police in nearby Chesterton through boy's social media contacts.

However, the student did not make any specific threat to any school or school system, Valparaiso Police Department said.
