On Wednesday, the Nepalese Supreme Court issued an order for Sobhraj's release, citing his senior age and poor health. Sobhraj, a 78-year-old French national born to an Indian father and a Vietnamese mother, arrived on a commercial flight shortly after 7 a.m. at Paris's main international airport.
