<p>The mysterious route of German businessman Karl-Peter Griesemann's private aircraft, that crashed into the Baltic Sea, has baffled authorities.</p>

<p>Griesemann was the pilot of the jet and his co-passengers included his wife, daughter and his daughter's boyfriend.</p>

<p>A spokesperson for Quick Air, which is an air charter company based in Cologne, told the news agency Reuters that the jet was an Austria-registered Cessna 551.</p>

<p>Flight tracking data showed that the jet took off from Spain on Sunday following which it took erratic turns at Paris and Cologne.</p>

<p>An hour after it took off, Spain's air traffic control service ENAIRE lost contact with the aircraft in the airspace above Toledo at 1455 local time (1255 GMT).</p>

<p>According to the FlightRadar24 website, the jet was listed on the flight tracker as rapidly losing speed and altitude.</p>

<p>In order to monitor the jet, two warplanes were sent up and controllers were alerted in France but were unable to spot anybody on board.</p>

<p>Cologne newspaper Express reported that the jet spiralled off the Latvian coast into the water of the Baltic Sea.</p>

<p>Highlighting that no passengers had been found, Latvian search and rescue head Peteris Subbota told Latvian television that a wreck, an oil-like slick, and a concentrated patch of waste had been spotted near the crash site.</p>

<p>As per the MarineTraffic website, a Swedish search and rescue helicopter and airplane along with a Stena Line ferry travelling from Ventspils to Norvik in Sweden were also redirected to the crash site.</p>

<p>Playing a role in the deeply Catholic city's annual carnival celebrations, Griesemann has been a prominent figure in western Germany's largest city Cologne.</p>

<p>As per the size of the bones discovered in the yard, the dinosaur was 12 metres tall and 25 metres long, The Guardian reported.</p>

<p>Researchers are hopeful that additional excavation will turn up more pieces of the same dinosaur because of the skeleton’s natural posture.</p>

<p>“We can conclude from the evidence that we have habitual bipedalism, plus quadrupedal arborealism, which is what is observed for early hominids and then gradually turns into the obligate bipedalism in Homo,” said a co-author of the study, Jean-Renaud Boisserie,&nbsp;from the University of Poitiers.</p>

Seven million year old human bone leads to an amazing discovery

<p>As water levels across Europe's major rivers drop to dangerous levels with the region suffering a historic drought, centuries-old warnings of hardship have emerged in what could be a harbinger of hard times ahead.</p>

<p>These macabre warnings come in the form of boulders, inscribed with stories of past tragedies and predictions of future ones. The boulders are called "Hungersteine" or "Hunger stones".</p>

<p>As per NPR, hunger stones were used as "hydrological landmarks" across central Europe.</p>

<p>Japan, where people who sleep during the day are called inemuri, is infamous for overlong work office hours among employees.</p>

<p>Saeko Kawashima, communications director at Itoki told Bloomberg that "In Japan, there are a lot of people who will lock themselves up in the bathroom for a while, which I don't think is healthy. It's better to sleep in a comfortable location."</p>

76 million-year-old dinosaur skeleton goes up for sale

<p>A fisherman in the United States caught a giant lobster and claims it is 100-year-old. Jacob Knowles, who shared the video on social media forums also said that the particular lobster was probably captured by his ancestors too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Fisherman Knowles shared the video on his Instagram account, which was originally posted to TikTok. In the video, he can be seen holding the lobster. Knowles shared details about the lobster.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the Instagram post, Knowles said that "this is quite possibly the biggest lobster we have ever caught." He also gave a closer glimpse of the gigantic lobster in the camera.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Knowles explained in the post that the only reason his team was able to catch it was because of his small claws. He also revealed that at some point in his life the lobster lost his claws, however, some new claws grew back.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"So unfortunately his claws don't match his body but if you look at his body, it's very impressive," Knowles said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A skydiver described her survival from smashing into the ground as a ''miracle'' after she spiralled from the sky at 125mph.</p>

<p>Jordan Hatmaker had jumped from a plane at the height of 13,500 feet but after 20 seconds she found herself on the ground with a broken leg and an injured spinal cord.</p>

<p>"Everything happened really quickly. I didn't have any thoughts because I was spiralling so I didn't know what was going on, I was just in strategy mode," she told 'The Daily Mirror'.</p>

<p>“I’ve never heard sounds like those come out of my body. I screamed bloodcurdling screams," she told the British daily&nbsp;newspaper.</p>

<p>Jordan said the pilot chute got stuck around her leg and when she tried to free herself her reserve chute was automatically released.</p>

<p>When people saw her lying on the ground they took her to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.</p>

<p>"They [doctors] said we don't know what kind of mobility she's going to have, but they didn't think I was going to be paralysed because I could wiggle my toes."</p>

<p>"I had a lot of hope that I would do everything I wanted to do again," she added.</p>

<p>However, despite sustaining several injuries and being hospitalised for two weeks, the adventure seeker is still optimistic.</p>

<p>"I don't think that you should give up things that you love just because an obstacle was put in your way, life is too short and you should do what makes you happy,'' Jordan said.</p>

<p>When she returned home from the hospital she had a hard time doing anything but instead of getting demotivated, the resilient woman took it as a challenge.</p>

<p>"That moment I could only lift it maybe half an inch off the bed but it was just so great to conquer a milestone. It was a sign of progress and I was really thrilled and excited, it just gave me more motivation to keep going.</p>

<p>"I started walking three months to the day of the accident."</p>

<p>According to Jordan, ''It doesn't feel real, it feels so surreal that even happened but I'm thankful that the accident happened.''</p>

<p>''I feel like there's a like lot of growth that came out of it, and I really think there's opportunity in tragedy,'' she added.</p>

<p>The 35-year-old woman, who is from Virginia fell in love with skydiving in 2015. She had jumped from her airplane five times till 2020 itself.</p>

A skydiver described her survival from smashing into the ground as a ''miracle'' after she spiralled from the sky at 125mph. Jordan Hatmaker had jumped from a plane at the height of 13,500 feet but after 20 seconds she found herself on the ground with a broken leg and an injured spinal cord. "Everything happened really quickly. I didn't have any thoughts because I was spiralling so I didn't know what was going on, I was just in strategy mode," she told 'The Daily Mirror'. Explaining what went through her mind during the horrific accident, she said, "First I tried to push myself off the ground, and when I couldn't move anything my first thought was I was paralysed and I was yelling that out.'' “I’ve never heard sounds like those come out of my body. I screamed bloodcurdling screams," she told the British daily newspaper. Jordan said the pilot chute got stuck around her leg and when she tried to free herself her reserve chute was automatically released. When people saw her lying on the ground they took her to the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. "They [doctors] said we don't know what kind of mobility she's going to have, but they didn't think I was going to be paralysed because I could wiggle my toes." I had a lot of hope that I would walk again, even though I couldn't lift my legs or move them back and forth.'' "I had a lot of hope that I would do everything I wanted to do again," she added. However, despite sustaining several injuries and being hospitalised for two weeks, the adventure seeker is still optimistic. "I don't think that you should give up things that you love just because an obstacle was put in your way, life is too short and you should do what makes you happy,'' Jordan said. "I really hope to send a message of trying to find the silver lining in whatever situation you're in. You never know how strong you are until you have to be, don't underestimate yourself." When she returned home from the hospital she had a hard time doing anything but instead of getting demotivated, the resilient woman took it as a challenge. "That moment I could only lift it maybe half an inch off the bed but it was just so great to conquer a milestone. It was a sign of progress and I was really thrilled and excited, it just gave me more motivation to keep going. "I started walking three months to the day of the accident." According to Jordan, ''It doesn't feel real, it feels so surreal that even happened but I'm thankful that the accident happened.'' ''I feel like there's a like lot of growth that came out of it, and I really think there's opportunity in tragedy,'' she added. <p>The condition is extremely rare with around just 100 cases worldwide, and some believe Albert Einstein's famous 'mad scientist' look was because he had UHS.</p>

<p>She recalls when Locklan was around five months old and his hair started to grow, ''It was coming in straight up and so soft and fuzzy.''</p>

<p>A local court ruled in her favour and asked her boss to compensate her for being offensive.</p>

<p>"He asked that question even after... she had made it quite clear she did not wish to participate in any such discussion.</p>

<p>"We are satisfied that part of the reason for the company's decision to dismiss Mrs Best is that she made a significant allegation of sexism and ageism against Mr David Fletcher."</p>

<p>"She was intervening to protect herself, her family, her close friends and contacts, the customers and suppliers of [the Fletcher's] business and the wider public," the tribunal said.</p>

<p>A diamond thief called Lulu Lakatos, who stole $5 million, has been asked to pay just $340 for executing a heist in the United Kingdom.</p>

<p>The con woman had posed as a gem expert to steal diamonds by swapping them for pebbles from luxury Mayfair jewellers Boodles.</p>

<p>The 60-year-old is serving a five-and-a-half-year sentence after she was found guilty of conspiracy to steal last year over the plot likened to a Hollywood heist movie.</p>

<p>When Boodles' diamond expert opened the bag the next day after becoming suspicious, she discovered seven tiny rocks.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After less than three hours of stealing the diamonds, she had fled the UK for France.</p>

<p>Prosecutor Philip Stott said the diamonds had been "stolen by the defendant by sleight of hand".</p>

<p>"The conspiracy in which she is alleged to have played an integral and central part was one of the highest possible sophistication, planning, risk and reward," he told Southwark Crown Court in London.</p>

<p>One of France's most important treasures, which had been stolen almost 50 years ago has been returned by a Dutch art sleuth.</p>

<p>The 1st-century bronze sculpture statue of the god Bacchus had been stolen in December 1973 from Musee du Pays Chatillonnais in eastern France.</p>

<p>For the heist, thieves smashed a window, crawled through the bars, and pilfered the 40 centimetres&nbsp;statue of the god of wine.</p>

<p>"The loss to the museum and the community was enormous. One of their most precious antiquities has been stolen."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Because back then there was no proper catalogue for stolen art, the statue disappeared into the underworld and was thought to have been lost for ever."</p>

<p>"But the owner was shocked to learn that the piece had been stolen and wanted to give it back to the museum. Under French law, he had to be paid a small amount -- a fraction of the statue's price which could be millions of euros, for 'safekeeping'," Brand said.</p>

<p>Catherine Monnet, the director of the museum described the return of a statue as ''an emotional moment.''</p>

<p>"When I saw it now for the first time, I just realised how much more beautiful it is than the copy we have had on display," she said.</p>

<p>The museum is famed for its collection of Roman artefacts from the nearby archaeological dig site of Vertillum, an ancient Gallo-Roman village first excavated in 1846.</p>
