US: Mass shooter in El Paso Walmart attack sentenced to 90 consecutive life terms

<p>The gunman who allegedly shot dead five men and injured two children in a shooting in Philadelphia has now been identified as Kimbrady Carriker (40). Media reports suggest that he is a Black Lives Matter (BLM) supporter. Carriker was arrested after the shootout in Philadelphia's Kingsessig neighbourhood on June 4.</p>

<p>His identity is yet to be publicly disclosed by the police. Action News has mentioned his name citing sources. It has been reported that Kimbrady lives in the 5600 block of Belmar Terrace. His home is reportedly just a few blocks away from the scene of the shooting. Kimbrady is yet to be charged, but District Attorney Larry Krasner said in a press conference that Kuimbrady will expectedly be charged with multiple counts of murder.</p>

<p>In a drive-by shooting on Tuesday (June 6)&nbsp;on Quetta's Airport Road, senior Supreme Court attorney Advocate Abdul Razzaq Shar was fatally shot by armed motorcyclists, according to the police.</p>

<p>On January 6, when she was seated at a reading table in her classroom, Abby Zwerner, a 25-year-old teacher at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia, was shot in the hand and the chest by a student. &nbsp;Since the incident, she has undergone four surgeries and spent over two weeks in the hospital.</p>

<p>The boy was not prosecuted in relation to the shooting, but his mother was, according to an indictment handed by a grand jury, charged with "felony child neglect and misdemeanour recklessly leaving a loaded firearm so as to endanger a child," Newport News Commonwealth's Attorney Howard Gwynn stated in April. Florida beach boardwalk shooting: 9 injured after 'dispute' between groups, 1 detained

<p>A surveillance video of a bus driver and a passenger firing&nbsp;at each other on a moving bus in the US state of North Carolina has surfaced. The incident took place earlier this month on a Charlotte transit bus and left both injured.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the video, the passenger can be seen taking out the gun and checking if it is loaded before standing near the driver. As soon as the passenger clocks and aims his gun, the driver also pulls out a gun and both fire a few rounds at each other in "rapid succession". The glass window between the duo also gets shattered as the passenger sinks to the ground.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The remaining passengers are forced to the back of the bus by the driver who continues to wave his gun before firing another round at the suspect, according to a CNN report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to authorities, the passenger has been identified as Omarri Shariff Tobias&nbsp;and he had&nbsp;asked the driver to let him off between the designated bus stops. However, the driver,&nbsp;David Fullard told Tobias that he would have to wait until the next stop to deboard the bus. After a heated two-minute back-and-forth, the altercation culminated with the gunfight.&nbsp;</p>

One of the men killed the others and then shot himself, due to an unresolved issue between them. The commissioner described this as an "isolated situation." <p>A search is currently underway for a man who killed five of his neighbours in Texas after an argument over noise from practising shooting with a semi-automatic weapon, according to police.</p>

<p>The law enforcement authority said investigators into the shooting tracked Oropeza&nbsp;with a cell phone but the trail went cold Saturday evening.</p>

<p>During a press conference, San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said,&nbsp;“He could be anywhere now."</p>

<p>The casualties also included an eight-year-old child and reports suggest all of the gunfire victims were from&nbsp;Hondurans.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident occurred on Friday night in the small town of Cleveland in San Jacinto County,&nbsp;located north of Houston. According to the local sheriff, Greg Capers, two women who were found dead on top of two living children.&nbsp;</p>

Revealing more gory details of the crime, the sheriff added that all the victims had been shot "from the neck up, almost execution style, basically in the head".</p>

<p>The 38-year-old suspect has been identified as Francisco Oropez, who is thought to be Mexican. He is still at large and is reported to be armed. He is charged with five counts of murder.</p>

The police are making use of dogs and a drone to trace the suspect in hiding.&nbsp;According to the sheriff's office, a call of "harassment" was made at approximately 23:30 local time on Friday (04:30 GMT Saturday).</p>

<p>The victims were reportedly attempting to put a baby to sleep and are understood to have requested Oropez to stop practicing shooting. The suspect who carried out the gun shooting was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the argument when the victims asked him to stop firing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In Cleveland, United States, a&nbsp;drunk man allegedly killed five people, including an eight-year-old child in a shooting incident at a southeast Texas home. As per the authorities, the suspect, who used an AR-15-style assault rifle to commit the crime, is still at large.</p>

<p>The incident, as per ABC News, occurred shortly after 11:31 pm local time, Friday (GMT 4:31 am, Saturday). Authorities from the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office report that they received a call about a harassment incident in Cleveland, Texas — around 55 miles (89 Kilometres) north of Houston.</p>

<p>When the police reached the scene, they found several victims shot “almost execution style”.</p>

<p>Speaking to ABC News’ Houston station KTRK, Sheriff Greg Capers of the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office revealed that all the victims were shot “from the neck up almost execution style, basically in the head.”</p>

<p>Police believe the motive was a disagreement between the victims and the suspect, who had a habit of shooting his AR-15-style rifle in his front yard.</p>

<p>Capers told KTRK that the victims had asked the shooter to keep quiet as they had a sleeping baby.</p>

<p>“My understanding is that the victims, they came over to the fence and said ‘Hey could [you not do your] shooting out in the yard? We have a young baby that’s trying to go to sleep,’ and he had been drinking and he says ‘I’ll do what I want to in my front yard’,” said Capers.</p>

<p>At the time of the shooting, there were at least 10 people in the home. The youngest victim of the tragic shooting is an eight-year-old child.</p>

<p>Also among the victims are two females who, as per the ABC News report — in an apparent attempt to save them — were found lying on top of the two surviving children.</p>

<p>The suspect, as per authorities, is a Mexican male, armed with an AR-15-style rifle. He is believed to be in an intoxicated state. Police are looking for a Hispanic male with short black hair, approximately 5’8" tall. The suspect was reportedly last seen wearing blue jeans with a black shirt and work boots.</p>

<p>Police haven’t revealed the identities of the victims or their relationship to the suspect, but said they are from Honduras.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We are getting closer to him every minute of every hour, but we know who he is,” said Capers, adding, “he [the suspect] is from Mexico. The victims themselves were from Honduras.”</p>

<p>Authorities have advised locals to “stay inside, stay clear” of the crime scene until the investigation has concluded.</p>
