According to a spokesperson for Bayer, Susan Skiles Lukes, the undisputed evidence, in this case, does not support a conclusion that plaintiffs were exposed to unsafe levels of PCBs at the Sky Valley Education Center (SVEC) or that such exposure could have caused what they claim. He also said that&nbsp;these claims relate to a product Monsanto has not produced for over 40 years.

In a report released in March 2019, the Associated Press reported that millions of ballasts containing PCBs are likely still found in schools, daycare centers, and other settings in the US four decades after they were banned because of cancer-causing concerns in 1979.

Caulk, floor adhesives, ceiling tiles, and even paint from older buildings often contain PCBs, sometimes in levels more than allowed by law.

In a video released by PCB, Umar can be seen apologising to the Pakistan Cricket Board and his fans and said that he learnt his lessons. He also admitted that the period had been ‘very difficult for him’.

“Seventeen months ago, I made a mistake which caused damage to my cricket and career. I learnt a lot during this time and due to that mistake, Pakistan cricket’s reputation suffered badly. I ask for forgiveness from the PCB and from cricket fans around the world,” said Akmal in a video released by the PCB on Wednesday, reported PTI.&nbsp;

“Some people approached me but I was unable to report the same to the anti-corruption unit, due to which I had to face a 12-month ban. I couldn't play cricket despite being a cricketer. I learned a lot during this time and today I confess before all of you that that mistake brought disrepute to Pakistan Cricket,” he added.

“I, Umar Akmal, would like to request all of you, as ambassadors of the sport, to stay away from any suspicious activities. If any suspicious individuals approach you, please report it to the anti-corruption unit in a timely manner so that your record and career remain clean,” Umar gave a message to his fellow cricketers.

Given the conditions in the UAE, Afghanistan can also prove to be a dangerous side, looking at the players that they have. It's just like sending an all-decked-up bride back without getting her married. Then you suddenly look back to the recycled players. Not only are they recalled to the team but they are also made to play. They are preferred over the uncapped players," said Ramiz on his YouTube channel.

It's basically a benefit match for him because you did not give him a Test cap with the future in mind. What kind of thinking and logic is this?" explained Raja.

"See, these (high-performance centres) platforms and centres are meant for age cricket where you bring out the future stars. When you invest big coaches on the future stars, only then your cricket and your system is benefitted and not that the already-established first-class and Test players. If you bring them back, how will you increase the canvas, the scope, and talent pool with this execution and planning? I will say it again, the biggest problem with Pakistan cricket is that their GPS is not set yet about moving forward," concluded Raja.

Pakistan have announced their squads for their forthcoming tours against England and West Indies. The team will play three ODIs and three T20Is in a visit through England, prior to going to the Caribbean for five T20Is and two Tests against the West Indies.&nbsp;

Test cricket is not easy. If you haven’t played first-class cricket for five years, then your muscles aren’t used to bowling for that long. Amir should just play his cricket. "The team owners agreed that if we do not receive clarity by Thursday afternoon, then they'll have no other option but to request postponement of the remaining 20 matches. In the meantime, we will continue to liaise with the UAE government and the Emirates Cricket Board as they are equally keen for the event to be held in the UAE," he added.

Nadeem Omar, who owns Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to come up with a financial model that benefits all the stakeholders involved in the T20 league.

In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Omar said that there must be regular meetings with PSL franchises and the PCB to find a solution for a financial model as soon as possible.&nbsp;

“We are working with PCB on the financial model. PCB needs to understand that we have put our time and money in PSL. What sort of financial model is this, in which one partner is enjoying while others are suffering? This issue can be and should be solved amicably,” said Omar.

“PCB presents certain arguments, which we honestly don’t understand. There is one cake, so PCB needs to decrease their share of that. They need to realize that PSL franchises have made a lot of sacrifices. PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani has assured us that there will be regular meetings from now on, in which we will work on a formula regarding the financial model,” he added.

The Pakistan Super League was halted midway and postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the league. Pakistan's cricket board has notified that the remainder of the league with begin in June and will be played in Karachi only.&nbsp;

“If we start blame game, it won’t stop. So blame game won’t benefit anyone. We were maybe 10 per cent to blame and that too because PCB didn’t enforce any rules on us. PCB, as an organising party, was supposed to enforce the rules and they failed to do so,” he said.

“Now the plan is to gather the players and officials till 23 or 24 May, so they can quarantine for six to seven days. The league can start from the first week of June, so we can wind it up in 18 days. This is the only available window for us,” he added.

Former Pakistan skipper Ramiz Raja called Misbah-ul-Haq 'the poor man's MS Dhoni' and urged the Pakistan head coach to adopt modern thinking to guide the team well.&nbsp;

Ramiz Raja compared Misbah's calm nature with that of Captain Cool, however, he said that former Pakistan batsman he has to change and adapt according to the modern demands of the game.

"Misbah's training and upbringing is different. Let me put it this way, he is the poor man's Dhoni. MS was also restrained, no expressions and not emotional. Misbah is also like this but I think now he has to go on modern thinking," Ramiz said in an interview on the Cricket Baaz YouTube channel.

"Misbah has to take a new direction because there is a need to set the GPS right for Pakistan cricket because aggression is in our DNA. I think at times he gets too protective and he gets cagey as soon as we lose a match. But if our products and talent is right we shouldn't be afraid of hiccups and setbacks."

Ramiz requested the board to appoint a chief executive for the Pakistan team and said that the team should stop relying on foreign coaches.&nbsp;

"In the past I could understand we needed foreign coaches because we were young to this field but now we have grown ourselves in this area. "In fact I think there is no need to have permanent coaches with the team for all tours and we should only be appointing specialist coaches as required on tour to tour series to series basis.

Mohammad Amir takes cheeky dig at PCB's bio-secure bubble for PSL 6

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani on Tuesday said that he is optimistic that Pakistan will&nbsp;host&nbsp;the Asia Cup in the year 2023.&nbsp;The PCB chief further said that he hopes&nbsp;the political situation between India and Pakistan would improve by then so that the country can host the Indian cricket team for the tournament in what will be a "big breakthrough for Pakistan cricket" as labelled&nbsp;by him.&nbsp;

“Pakistan has to host the Asia Cup in 2023,”&nbsp;Mani told&nbsp;GeoSuper&nbsp;in an interview.&nbsp;

“India's participation in the tournament will be a big breakthrough for Pakistan cricket. I hope that the political situation would improve by then.”&nbsp;&nbsp;

The PCB chief added that due to some recent developments, the relationship between the two countries has started to improve.
