But Weibo users and Chinese entertainment sites speculated that the two had been censored after reports in late September that Angelababy had attended a burlesque show by Lisa at the Parisian cabaret Crazy Horse.

Lisa "set the Crazy Horse Paris stage alight on September 28, 29 and 30, 2023 with five exclusive performances that left an indelible impression on both the audience and her fans all over the world", the venue's website said.

Lisa posted photos of herself in cabaret attire on her official Instagram in October, quipping, "Such an amazing experience at (Crazy Horse)... Call me whenever you need someone to fill a spot."

Chinese censors are quick to block content considered politically sensitive or going against the ruling Communist Party's socially conservative values, with stars targeted in the past for tattoos and "effeminate" fashion.

The blocking of the two stars comes after President Xi Jinping called on women to help in "promoting traditional Chinese virtues and sound family values".

Weibo users complained that censorship had gone overboard, sharing a screenshot of a state media report from 2012 -- the year Xi came to power -- that praised the Crazy Horse cabaret for highlighting Parisian fashion designers.

"There's nothing to say at all about this, if this issue came up in the 2000s, who would care, let alone block you?" one Weibo user wrote.

"Now the level of social tolerance in our country is lower than low," they complained.

But others were supportive of the blocking, condemning Lisa's performance as inappropriate for its revealing outfits.

"There's a cultural difference between China and other countries," another Weibo user wrote.

"When my sister said she wanted to see Crazy Horse I wanted to strangle her," they added.

Vietnam has launched an inspection into K-pop group Blackpink's tour organiser's website, ahead of its concert in Hanoi, over criticism from fans that it shows a map of the South China Sea with disputed boundaries.

The controversy follows Vietnam's decision to ban Warner Bros' highly-anticipated film Barbie&nbsp;over a scene allegedly featuring the "nine-dash line" used in Chinese maps to illustrate Beijing's claims over vast areas of the South China Sea, including swathes of what Vietnam considers its continental shelf.

Vietnam's culture ministry said late on Wednesday it had ordered an inspection of the website "to verify the suspicion that the company organizing the Blackpink music night promoted the cow-tongue line", using the Vietnamese phrase to describe the U-shaped line.

The organiser's website was inaccessible on Thursday but a cached version seen by Reuters and last updated on July 4, shows a vague nine-dash line that encompasses nearly the whole South China Sea.

Vietnam and China have long had overlapping territorial claims to a potentially energy-rich stretch in the waterway. The Southeast Asian country has repeatedly accused Chinese vessels of violating its sovereignty.

Blackpink, a cornerstone of South Korea's multi-billion dollar&nbsp;entertainment&nbsp;industry, is the latest to court trouble in Vietnam for depicting China's controversial nine-dash line, which was repudiated in an international arbitration ruling by a court in The Hague in 2016. China refuses to recognise the ruling.

The culture ministry's move followed complaints by Vietnamese internet users who noticed the nine-dash line on the organiser's website.

"Bought two tickets for me and my date. Then saw the cow-tongue, and quit. I am (a) patriot," Tu Anh Xinh, a Blackpink fan wrote on Facebook.

The world-famous K-pop girl group is due to perform in Vietnam for the first time ever on July 29-30, having been granted a government license that requested the organiser to comply with the government's regulations on performing activities.

The controversy follows Vietnam's decision to ban Warner Bros' highly-anticipated film Barbie over a scene allegedly featuring the "nine-dash line" used in Chinese maps to illustrate Beijing's claims over vast areas of the South China Sea, including swathes of what Vietnam considers its continental shelf. Vietnam's culture ministry said late on Wednesday it had ordered an inspection of the website "to verify the suspicion that the company organizing the Blackpink music night promoted the cow-tongue line", using the Vietnamese phrase to describe the U-shaped line. It was unclear when it would announce its findings. Chinese organiser iME Entertainment and South Korean agency YG Entertainment, which manages Blackpink, had no immediate comment. The organiser's website was inaccessible on Thursday but a cached version seen by Reuters and last updated on July 4, shows a vague nine-dash line that encompasses nearly the whole South China Sea. Vietnam and China have long had overlapping territorial claims to a potentially energy-rich stretch in the waterway. The Southeast Asian country has repeatedly accused Chinese vessels of violating its sovereignty. Blackpink, a cornerstone of South Korea's multi-billion dollar entertainment industry, is the latest to court trouble in Vietnam for depicting China's controversial nine-dash line, which was repudiated in an international arbitration ruling by a court in The Hague in 2016. China refuses to recognise the ruling. The world-famous K-pop girl group is due to perform in Vietnam for the first time ever on July 29-30, having been granted a government license that requested the organiser to comply with the government's regulations on performing activities. The K-pop group comprising of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa closed out the second weekend of the annual event in London to a sold-out crowd of 65,000 fans.&nbsp;They opened their performance with screams and pink fireworks shooting up from the stage as&nbsp;the girls sprang on stage clad in different white outfits.&nbsp;

“What’s up Hyde Park?” asked Rose, who did most of the talking during the London set, before each of the girls introduced themselves to a cheering crowd who knew them very well.

The girls performed to How You Like That, showing off the choreography well known to the fans – affectionately known as Blinks – before moving up the runway for Pretty Savage, Kick It and Whistle.

The four girls performed solo acts before going off stage for a short interval when female performers took over. When they came back, they danced to BOOMBAYAH, Typa Girl and Shut Down.

Pink heart-shaped lightsticks, present at every Blackpink performance, dotted the crowd of singing fans. While the band performed almost all hits, their fans did complain about the band not performing to hit number Kill This Love and expressed disappointment on Twitter.

BLACKPINK closed the night with Forever Young, which had the girls singing “I could die in this moment” as they hugged each other and waved to the crowd before disappearing under the stage.

BLACKPINK's act was followed by performances from Sabrina Carpenter, The Rose, and Rebecca Black.

After a brilliant performance at Coachella earlier this year, the K-pop girl band&nbsp;is currently in Australia performing in various parts of the country. During one of the concerts, band member Jennie Kim left the stage mid-performance leaving her fans worried. Jennie was also&nbsp;absent during the soundcheck before their Melbourne concert on 11 June 2023.&nbsp;

About halfway through the concert, while performing their&nbsp;hit song 'Lovesick Girls,'&nbsp;Jennie left the stage abruptly&nbsp;to recover backstage. She claimed&nbsp;to be physically weak with a fragile immune system. The rest of the K-pop band members—Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé addressed the audience and assured them that Jennie&nbsp;was okay but was feeling unwell earlier in the day. “We’re so sad that we can’t have her today because she was so excited to be in Melbourne. I’m sure she’s feeling really upset backstage," they said. The rest of the members finished the concert without Jennie.

This is not the first time Jennie’s health has come to light. Jennie told Rolling Stone about being sick after BLACKPINK’s tour in 2020. “I became sick, both mentally and physically,” she said. “This isn’t something I want to share in too much detail with the fans. They worry, so I want to be vague. But for three years after debuting, we worked nonstop without resting. You know, we were young, in our early twenties. Our sleep systems were breaking down; we weren’t eating properly; I wasn’t hydrating myself — we did that for three to four years, and then started our tour. We were on tour for a year and a half. For a year and a half, I didn’t have a home.” 
 
BLACKPINK member Rose opened up about Jennie’s deteriorating health and stated that she was resting in order to save her strength for the main concert. Jennie overestimated herself and thought she could pull through the whole concert but unfortunately walked out off the stage mid-way because she started feeling unwell.

BLACKPINK fans were very supportive of the whole incident. Videos emerged of fans shouting “We love you Jennie!” while she was leaving the stage.

One fan tweeted, “he girls kept reassuring us that jennie is okay and she’s sad that she can’t perform ,don’t worry about us and rest Jennie, we love you and we hope you feel better soon baby (sic). ”

Rumours started floating after Jennie made her acting debut in HBO Original series The Idol. Previously, multiple reports claimed that Jennie has been offered a role as a member of Marvel's Asian superhero team, namely Team Agents of Atlas. Reportedly, she would have played a character called Seol Hee (Luna Snow), which first appeared in the video game Marvel Super War in 2020. The character was voiced by girl group f(x)’s Luna. 
 
Earlier, actor Park Seo Joon became the first Korean actor to be a part of MCU when he debuted in The Marvels.

YG Entertainment, the agency of the K-pop band BLACKPINK, is planning to take legal action against those who are spreading fake rumours about one of the band members, Rose. The agency released a public statement reacting to all the online rumours resurfacing about the main vocalist of the band Rose's alleged drug abuse.

Further adding, the agency informed that they are planning to take legal action. 
 
The statement reads, ''We are taking legal action against acts that violate the human rights of and defame our agency artist. We are currently monitoring those who created and spread the rumours, and will take strong legal action in the future without any leniency or settlement.”

The rumours about Rose using drugs started spreading after a photo of her went viral. The picture was shared by Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.
