Main event: Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill- Light Heavyweight title fight

Pereira had an easy day in the office as he managed to knock out Hill within the first round of the five-round fight. The bout began with Pereira landing his signature calf kick on Hill, and the American countered with similar strikes. Both the fighters were bouncy on their feet. A left body kick by Pereira rattled Hill a bit and the Brazilian deflected a right overhand. The first round continued with Pereira landing a combination of jabs and left kicks. Hill kicked Pereira near the waist with the referee coming to stop the fight for a few seconds.

However, the Brazilian indicated the fight should go on and then floored Hill with his devastating left hook. The champion didn’t even land completely flush, and yet Hill fell backwards to the canvas. Pereira pounced, swarming and securing the finish, making it look easy.

Pereira, the former UFC Middleweight champion and former Glory Middleweight and Light Heavyweight champion, continues to speed run the UFC and might soon join the GOAT conversation.

Co-main event: Zhang Weili vs Yan Xiaonan- Strawweight title fight

Zhang defeated Yan by unanimous decision (49-45, 49-45, 49-45), and defended her title for a second time. Zhang was a second or two away from earning a stoppage in the first round after locking onto a deep rear-naked choke. However, Yan was saved by the round concluding bell but was dominated again in the second round.

The challenger defended well and rallied in the third and early moments of the fourth, taking the fight to the tiring champion, knocking her down in each frame.

But Zhang got the fight to the ground later in the round and controlled from there. In the fifth and final round, the champion again got the fight to the canvas and neutralised Yan.

BMF title fight: Max Holloway vs Justin Gaethje- Lightweight division

Max Holloway, the former UFC Featherweight champion, is now the BMF champion after he defeated Justin Gaethje (United States) by knockout. Holloway was sharp from the start of the fight, using his long punches to pick at Gaethje early before shattering his nose with a spinning back kick on the buzzer at the end of the first round.

From there, Holloway continued to land better shots but also eye-poked Gaethje twice. Gaethje found more success in the fourth, dropping Holloway and continuing to strike the former Featherweight champion's battered lead leg.

But Holloway responded by taking the fight to him in the fifth, and then the knockout happened.
