A day after Gautam Gambhir openly slammed former Pakistani cricketer for his comments on Kashmir issue, Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and cricket legend Kapil Dev too have joined the league.

While addressing a gathering, Kapil Dev condemned Afridi's remark and urged media to not give importance to such people.

On the other hand, Kohli, who is preparing for the upcoming 11th edition of the Indian Premier League, openly said he doesn't support former Pakistani cricketer's views. 

"My interests are always for the benefit of our nation. If anything opposes it, I would never support it for sure,"Kohli stressed.

On Tuesday, Afridi took to his Twitter handle tweeted: "Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren't they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?"

Soon, Gambhir mocked at Afridi by calling him a perennially immature person in a comical twitter war. He said that Afridi's tweet on Kashmir and his reference to United Nations was according to "his age bracket".
