Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata team scored 138 runs in the rain-hit innings against Hyderabad at Eden Garden Stadium on Saturday as Hyderabad won the toss and opted to ball.

For Kolkata, Chris Lynn played exceptionally well and scored 49 runs off 34 balls. His fierce knock included seven fours and one six. He was pushing the run rate to put up a mammoth score but Bangladeshi experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan saw him off in the 13th over.

Apart from him, Nitish Rana and skipper Dinesh Karthik played some good shots but enough to propel the run rate.
