The former champion reportedly needed treatment during his flight on Sunday after complaining of nausea and dizziness. As a result, paramedics boarded the plane at Los Angeles International Airport to treat the boxing legend upon landing before other passengers were allowed to exit the American Airlines flight. Tyson, however, insisted on Tuesday that he is feeling fine after the mid-flight scare.

He took to his official account on X, formerly Twitter, and shared a sarcastic post. He wrote, "Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul."

Tyson, who turns 58 in June, will lock horns with 27-year-old Paul in a professional bout which will comprise eight two-minute rounds. It is to be noted that Tyson has not fought a professional bout since 2005. He did take on Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition contest which was held in 2020.

Paul, a former YouTuber-turned-boxer, has a 9-1 professional record with most of his victories coming against UFC fighter-turned-boxer opponents such as Ben Askren, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. It will be interesting to see how he fares versus the legendary Tyson.
