Islamic preacher Zakir Naik seen hugging terrorists in Pakistan
The visuals that have just come from Pakistan are indeed reeking of and overflowing with ‘peace’, with Peace TV founder Zakir Naik meeting and hugging‘peaceful’ terror commanders while being on a ‘peace’ visit to Pakistan.
Hate preacher Zakir Naik was seen spending quality time with UN-designated terrorist group Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) Commanders Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi and Harris Dhar. Notably, LeT is the group behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks and several such attacks on Indian soil. Also, the duo was declared 'international' terrorists by the US in 2008.
The controversial preacher is banned in India, UK and Canada for spreading hatred and had been denied visa by US, prompting him to seek refuge in Malaysia.
Before Zakir Naik’s visit, Hashmi and Harris Dhar had even organised an online event to promote the Islamic preacher.
Pakistan is infamous for letting terrorists affiliated with UN-designated groups roam free without any restrictions. The duo previously gained attention when they met Pakistan's Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem.

Naik is wanted by India’s anti-terror National Investigation Agency for alleged terrorist activities. He fled India back in 2016 following a terror attack at a cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh, carried out by people inspired by Naik’s teachings. The attack resulted in 20 fatalities.
It was also revealed that some Indian youthwho had gone to join the Islamic State group were also inspired by his lectures.

Apart from facing terror charges, Naik is also accused of economic fraudulent activities in India. In 2022, India’s Home Ministry outlawed Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation.
Naik is now on a month-long state visit to Pakistan, where he recently visited Lahore's Badshahi Mosque and addressed a gathering of over 150,000 people. It was here thathe met the two terrorists amidst heavy security.
India has called Zakir Naik’s visit “condemnable”.
