Expanding its tablet PC range, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S3 in India. The tablet will be available in black and silver colours at Rs 47,990 from June 20.

Under a special launch offer that runs till July 31, the Galaxy Tab S3 will be offered with one-time screen replacement at Rs 990, which holds valid for a period of 12 months from purchase. Besides, the company is also offering Reliance Jio’s double data offer of 28+28 GB a month plan at Rs 309. It will be valid till December 31.

Weighing 434 grams, the new tablet features a 9.7-inchSuper AMOLED display and a 6mm thin metal frame. It comes with an advanced S Pen, which includes features such as Screen-off Memos, Samsung Notes, and Air Command. Users can also utilise S Pen’s handy PDF Annotation function to get work done on-the-go.

Powered by a QualcommSnapdragon820 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab S3 includes32GB of internal memory. Users can expand the memory up to 256GB using a microSD card.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a 6,000mAh battery, which is claimed to have 12 hours of video playback.The tablet sports a13 megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and a 5 megapixel front camera.

Samsung Flow on the tabletuses biometric authentication to log-in and can wirelessly tether compatible devices to transfer documents from a mobile device to a tablet. It also syncs message notifications.

Galaxy Tab S3 is touted to be the first Samsung tablet to feature a four stereo setup tuned by AKG, owned by Harman International.
