Police initiated action when the victim's father approached the police on Wednesday after he was unable to contact her in the last few days. He also has suspicions that her live-in partner, identified as Vipal Tailor, murdered his daughter, the police said.

A team from Dabri police station rushed to the woman's house in Dwarka's Rajapuri area after Police Control Room (PCR) received a call at 10.40 pm (IST) on Wednesday. The caller reportedly said his daughter could have been killed.

"Upon entering the flat, the body of the woman was found in the almirah of a room. The crime scene was inspected by the crime team and FSL," said a senior police officer.

The deceased's father was also present at the spot.

The police cited his last call with the woman, in which she apparently claimed that her partner used to beat her up and she was afraid she could be murdered.
