First scheduled for a release date on December 1, 2017, the movie was postponed after a widespread protest by certain fringe elements.
Earlier called Padmavati, it is all set to hit the screens on Thursday, January 25.
Bhansali's film has been in the center of a massive controversy almost the greater part of 2017.
The film was given censor's approval after it assented to the demands of the CBFC which suggested the following five modifications.
The film features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
