Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department is back on Billboard No. 1, making it this album’s 13th nonconsecutive week at the top position. We are talking about the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.
Tortured Poets Department is Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album. It released on April 19 and has since had massive success with streamers, sales and charts. After staying at the top for 12 weeks, theTortured Poets Department fell to No. 4, thanks to Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). This happened in July.
The album then stayed at No. 4 for two weeks in July before pulling itself again.
The last album to stay atop for 13 weeks was Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time.

Before Eminem took over the reigning spot from Taylor Swift’s album, the pop star broke the record previously set by Whitney Houston’s Whitney for the most initial consecutive weeks at No. 1 from an album by a female artist. Houston’s 1987 album spent its first 11 weeks on top of the chart before finally getting dethroned.
Meanwhile, apart from this top-notch album, the Billboard 200 chart saw Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess reach its career best. It climbed from number 8 to number 4. Stray Kids dropped from the top spot to No. 6 with their new LP ATE.
Rounding out the top 10 were Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time which is at Number 2 while Zach Bryan’s Great American Bar Scene is at No. 3. Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft rounded out the top five, and Charli XCX’s Brat returned to the top 10.
