Taylor Swift subtly responds to Kanye West after he name-dropped her and Travis Kelce in latest album

Taylor Swift and Kanye West's complicated relationship is well known. While it has been a few years since West infamously interrupted Swift's winning speech at the VMAs and sang praises for Beyonce instead, Swift has not completely forgotten the incident or what followed later on. Neither has Kanye West it seems who in his latest album"Vultures 2" mentions both Swift as well as Travis Kelce.

Swift has now sent a sneaky response to West for his latest insult.

After releasing his much-anticipated album Ye is back to business. In his verse on Kanye's song Lifestyle (DEMO), Rapper Lil Waynesaid,"I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce."

Swifties were quick to spot the jabs that Lil Wayne and West seem to have taken at their favourite singer and her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Swift and Kelce began dating last summer, and as their relationship continues to thrive with engagement rumours circulating.

Did Taylor respond to Kanye's shade?

While neither the pop star nor the Kansas City player has directly responded to the namedrop, Swifties believe they've uncovered a subtle response. During her August 3rd Eras Tour concert in Warsaw, Poland, Swift wore a "22" shirt reading "I Bet You Think About Me." Many feel it could be a veiled message directed at West.

This isn't the first time that West has mentioned Taylor Swift in his comeback era. Earlier in the album Vultures 1, West had rapped about making 'six Taylor Swifts'.

Swift, on her part, has been spotted wearing the T-shirt in her previous concert and fans don't see it as a coincidence this time. The track from her 2021 album, Red (Taylor’s Version), is widely believed to address her long-standing rivalry with Ye.

“She’s so funny for wearing the I bet you think about me shirt after Ka*ye name-dropped her and Travis in his song an actual comedian,” a fan commented. “Guys it's just Taylor’s way of responding relax,” another added. “She doesn’t need to drop a whole album to shade Kanye just these small actions can destroy him,” commented the third. “[When I] saw the k*nye thing a little bit ago and I knew she was gonna wear it lmao,” another added.
