One of Shah Rukh Khan's most endearing performances of all time was in Kundan Shah's 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa'. The film which marked the debut of Suchitra Krishnamurthy, was lauded for its music, story and of course SRK's performance.
Over the years the film has attained cult status with loyal fans of SRK terming the film as one of his best works. 25 years after the film released, rumours have it that several production houses are aiming to remake it - this time as a web series for one of the various OTT platforms.
According to reports, SRK has been approached by multiple production houses for the rights of the film. SRK solely holds the rights of the film and he is even toying with the idea of a remake.
The actor may give his nod to the remake soon which won't feature him in the lead but a younger cast.
Though there is no official confirmation from the actor's production house, the report states that his team is enthusiastic to explore the options in this area.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is at present taking a break from movies and spending quality time with family. SRK was slated to feature in a number of feature films but sources close to the actor state that post the debacle of his last release 'Zero', the actor is taking time to reassess the scripts he has in hand.
"Usually, what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time I am just not feeling like...My heart doesn't allow me to..I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books. Even my kids are in their college stage...my daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. So I just want to spend more time with my family," the actor told a film magazine recently.
