If you are not fangirling over her sartorial choices, and live through the little lanes of Paris via Emily’s life in Netflix’s Emily in Paris – then here’s some good news for you. The show has been renewed for season 5 and we can’t say we’re surprised considering the goodwill it enjoys.

The hit Darren Star series stars Lily Collins as an American girl who has made a new life for herself in Paris, has made friends, some romantic relationships and a budding career. Lily will reprise her hit role as Emily in Emily in Paris season 5. 

Making the announcement, Darren Star told Netflix’s Tudum, “We’re thrilled with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris and excited to return for a fifth to continue Emily’s adventures in Rome and Paris!”

Collins, who broke the news on Good Morning America, posted a reel on Instagram saying, “There’s no place like Rome.”

The renewal comes shortly after the Part 2 debut of season four of Emily in Paris on September 12.

The fourth season had ended with the show’s Agence Grateau launching a Rome office, which Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) wants Emily (Collins) to lead, giving her a reason to stay in Italy near her new beau, Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini).

This was the first time that Emily in Paris came in two parts. The full season usually has 10 episodes which they typically release all at once.

The show has Darren Star as creator-writer along with Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Alison Brown and Robin Schiff who executive produced Emily in Paris. Stephen Brown, Grant Sloss and Joe Murphy co-executive produce, along with producers Ryan McCormick, Raphaël Benoliel, Collins and Jake Fuller.
