Kanye West aka Ye has been busy working on new music as he announced a new album and it's called Bully. He also debuted a new song called “Beauty and the Beast” during his show at Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China.
At the listening party in China, towards the end of his performance, Ye teased that his fans could soon expect a new album and said, “I got a new album coming out. The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.'”
What is the new song about?
The track features Kanye West singing over a gentle instrumental with the lyrics, “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.”
Meanwhile, Kanye West’s collaborator Mike Dean posted an Instagram comment stating that “Beauty and the Beast” was a “Donda leftover,” suggesting it was intended for his 2021 album.
In addition to the Bully announcement and song premiere, Ye also debuted what fans are calling a finished version with a second verse of “530,” a track included on Vultures 2.
After the performance was over, Kanye West took to his Instagram page to post an image from the show with the caption, “BULLY.”
