Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their first child, a girl, on Sunday, September 8. After several sources confirmed, the couple also shared the good news with the world.
Deepika gave birth to her first child at a private hospital in Mumbai.
Taking to Instagram, the new parents shared the news with their millions of followers. The post simply read,"Welcome Baby Girl", along with thebirth date, i.e.,September 8.
Deepika delivered the baby at Mumbai's Reliance Foundation Hospital. The good news comes a day after she was spotted arriving at the hospital with her family on September 7 at around 5 pm.

On Friday, a day before she got admitted to a hospital, Deepika, Ranveer, and family had visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple. The new mom looked gorgeous in a stunning green silk saree as she walked in the temple with Ranveer.
Earlier this week, Deepika shared a bunch of breathtaking photos from her maternity shoot.
The couple announced the pregnancy news in February this year after several rumours about the actressexpecting a child took the internet by storm.Putting her baby bump on full display, Deepika posed adorably with an affectionate smile on her face.
Deepika and Ranveer got married in 2018 after dating for six years. The couple tied the knot in a dreamy wedding at Lake Como, Italy,with family and close friends in attendance.
