Actor Owain Rhys Davies, known for his role in Twin Peaks, has died at 44. The sad news of his demise was confirmed by his brother in a statement.

Twin Peaks star Owain Rhys Davies dies 'suddenly'
The actor's brother Rhodri, wrote on Instagram: “It is with profound sadness that my father and I share the news that my brother, Owain, has passed away.”

Owain's death has come as a shock to many. In the released statement, his brother shared that several questions about his death remain unanswered, but he revealed that the actor died “suddenly, naturally, and peacefully.”
"This news will come as a great shock to many. While there are still questions that remain unanswered regarding the circumstances of his death, our understanding at this stage is that Owain passed suddenly, naturally, and peacefully," he shared.
‘’Owain was fortunate enough to have more than one family. Alongside his biological one, he built extraordinary, family-like bonds with many of his closest friends, colleagues, and loved ones. I am incredibly proud that, while he was my brother, he was also a brother to so many others. We know that this loss will be felt by a great many people, and we take comfort in knowing how loved he was,'' he wrote.
Tribute pours in for Owain Rhys Davies
Soon after the news of Owain Rhys's death, condolences and tributes started pouring in.
The Twin PeaksInstagram account shared condolences for the star, "Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him," the tribute read. “Thank you for being a part of the world of Twin Peaks, Agent Wilson.”
Scottish actress Ruth Connell called the death of the actor, "beyond measure".
Davies was born on February 20, 1982, in Cardiff, Wales and raised in St. Clears in Carmarthenshire. His love for acting came after working at a local theatre before he got roles in Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Indian Doctor, The OA, The Relationship, and A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life.
