Good news for K pop fans as rumours suggest that BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon might have gotten back together romantically. After they dated and parted ways, there seems to be some hope for fans who loved them together as a couple.

After both G-Dragon and Jennie left YG Entertainment to pursue solo careers, this might be their biggest surprise for their collective fans. Rumours suggest that the two have been dating since August 2023. 

Are the romance rumours true?

BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon made headlines when they were spotted together in their previous romantic stint. At the time, while they kept it all hush-hush, their romance was reported widely by a South Korean media outlet. They were still under contract with YG Entertainment and had been dating for over a year. Their romance then fizzled out in 2022.

The fresh reports of their romance have surfaced since social media users have spotted the two wearing seemingly matching items, like rings and scarves. The biggest giveaway for fans was the same ring that has been spotted on both Jennie and G-Dragon. 

News of their romantic linkup came up when G-Dragon had apparently stopped following Jennie on social media. He was, however, following other members. Jennie has since then been linked with BTS members, V and Kim Taehyung.

On the work front, the BIGBANG member officially ended his 20-year working relationship with YG Entertainment in 2023. He has since then joined Galaxy Corporation under his real name, Kwon Ji Yong, and announced plans to release new music under his new label. Meanwhile, Jennie, along with other BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose, also opted to leave YG individually while continuing to work together as a group under the same label. She has now launched her own label, ODD ATELIER.
