Cardi B loves money but did not take a penny to endorse Kamala Harris and attend her rally in Milwaukee. The rapper's clarification came days after Oprah Winfrey rubbished the claims of being paid $1 million for a town hall event.
On Thursday (Nov 14), Cardi B, an outspoken supporter of Harris, clarified everything as she reacted to conservative commentator Candace Owens's query.
Taking to X, Owens wrote, “Hey @iamcardib — Working on a story and was wondering if you were in any way paid to speak at the Kamala campaign event you spoke at.”
Responding to her post, the ''WAP'' rapperswore on her three kids to prove thatshe didn't get a single dollar for her much-talked-about appearance.
''I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!'' she wrote on a micro-blogging site.
''I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be,'' she said before mentioning Owensand saying, ''Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE.''

Harris got the support of a bunch of Hollywood celebrities who participated in her rallies and campaign events.
Beyonce, Taylor Swift, George Clooney, Leonardo Di Caprio Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lizzo, and Megan Thee Stallion were among the array of Hollywood biggies who endorsed Harris in the election.
However, the election result of the US election has shocked everyone including the stars after Donald Trump's victory.
After Trump's win, Cardi was among the few stars who spoke out expressing disappointment with the election result. Later, she also shared a heartfelt message for Harris.
Taking to her Instagram, the 32-year-old singer wrote, ''To Vice President Kamala, no matter what the’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and with integrity! You really put up a fight against all the odds that were already stacked against you! You never accepted defeat as an option which says so much about your strength and about your heart. You really wanted better for ALL of us!"
