Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki dies on stage after getting electrocuted

Brazilian musician Ayres Sasaki, 35, tragically died on stage after getting electrocuted during a live performance on Saturday, July 13, in Salinópolis, Pará, Brazil, according to reports. The musician instantly died after he hugged a soaking-wet concertgoer at the Solar Hotel.
Reports suggest that the contact between the two triggered a nearby cable to jolt, resulting in a fatal electric shock. Salinópolis Police is currently investigating the case and witnesses have been interviewed. It is however unclear why the concertgoer was wet.
Sasaki is survived by his wife, Mariana.
On Sunday, Solar Hotel released a statement, which read, "We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events. Our thoughts and condolences are with Ayres Sasaki's family and friends at this difficult time."
Tributes have been pouring in for the musician online. Filmmaker Raphael Macedo wrote, "Always a wonderful person and loved by all. The divine plans no one explains but I am sure you would like to be remembered by your voice, joy and friendship!"
