In one of his interviews, Rawat shared how fond a relationship he shared with Bhaijaan, and how he once stayed at his house not for a day, or a week, but for six whole months.</p><h3>Pradeep Rawat's close bond with Salman Khan, how he wouldn’t let me go back home</h3><p>Rawat and Salman’s close bond began while working on Baaghi in 1990, and since then, they developed a strong friendship, bonded over working out.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor recalled a time when they used to work out together. He said there was a phase when Salman wouldn’t let him go home.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>“He was passionate about working out, and so was I. There was a phase that lasted four to six months when Salman simply wouldn’t let me go back home. He wouldn’t let me leave. I’d eat there, sleep there, work out there, change my clothes, take a shower, and then head out again from his place,” he shared.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Not even limited to staying at his home. But Salman used to rent suits for him for the big tinseltown party. He added, “He used to attend a lot of parties. I never even owned the kind of suits those events required. I felt that if I stayed with him for too long, there wouldn’t be any space for Shera, who is now his chief bodyguard. I would’ve probably just remained in that role myself. I told myself that this comfortable life. I mean comfortable in the sense that during your struggling days you are getting food, a place to stay, and people to hang out with? What else do you need? It wasn’t helping me achieve anything. I felt that I shouldn’t get too comfortable living like that,” he said.&nbsp;</p>

In one of his interviews, Rawat shared how fond a relationship he shared with Bhaijaan, and how he once stayed at his house not for a day, or a week, but for six whole months. In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor recalled a time when they used to work out together. He said there was a phase when Salman wouldn’t let him go home. “He was passionate about working out, and so was I. There was a phase that lasted four to six months when Salman simply wouldn’t let me go back home. He wouldn’t let me leave. I’d eat there, sleep there, work out there, change my clothes, take a shower, and then head out again from his place,” he shared. Not even limited to staying at his home. But Salman used to rent suits for him for the big tinseltown party. He added, “He used to attend a lot of parties. I never even owned the kind of suits those events required. Whenever it was a big party, they’d even rent a suit for me.'' But Pradeep chose to keep his distance from Salman and that lifestyle to focus on building his own career. He said that despite all the comforts available, he decided to stay away so he could concentrate on his acting career. “I didn’t meet Salman for a very long time. I felt that if I stayed with him for too long, there wouldn’t be any space for Shera, who is now his chief bodyguard. I would’ve probably just remained in that role myself. I told myself that this comfortable life. I mean comfortable in the sense that during your struggling days you are getting food, a place to stay, and people to hang out with? What else do you need? It wasn’t helping me achieve anything. I felt that I shouldn’t get too comfortable living like that,” he said.

<p>After Deepika Padukone grabbed headlines for speaking about an 8-hour work shift, actor Jimmy Shergill has also weighed in on working hours in the film industry. Shergill highlighted the challenges faced by cast and crew members, arguing that their health and personal lives are often overlooked.</p><h2>Jimmy Shergill on working hours</h2><p>In a recent conversation with <i>The Hollywood Reporter,</i> the <i>Operation Safed Sagar </i>actor spoke about the working hours of technicians and other crew members on set, whose schedules are often extended by stars' working hours. He said, "My fight is for the workers. 12 plus three plus three... 18 [hours], followed by their travel time back home. So he's just going home to meet his wife and come back. What kind of life is he living? Somebody has to genuinely take care of that because health is the most important thing for the workers. What kind of life is he living? Somebody has to genuinely take care of that because health is the most important thing for the workers. A guy doing that every single day is not gonna last too long."</p><h2>'We actors are privileged'</h2><p>Discussing the privileges of the stars that workers do not have, Shergill stated, "Everywhere in the world, the timing is 12 hours. You should work however much you want within those hours, but after that, workers need their own time. We actors, are privileged because we might be able to wrap up our work in those 15 to 20 days and go back home and sleep. The workers can't."</p>

<p>Stating her choice of picking performers over so-called actors, Deshpande said, "So we wanted performers rather than the so-called stars… I had worked with Ranveer on Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, when he wasn’t this big. So I had worked with him when he was starting out, and I still believe those are some of my favourite films of Ranveer Singh. I find him an absolutely outstanding actor who gives it all. He transforms into a character. I love that about him, the fact that he is not Ranveer Singh in that film. When he has to become Bajirao, he becomes Bajirao. When he has to become Khilji, he becomes Khilji. When he has to become Gully Boy, he becomes Gully Boy. So he transforms; he doesn’t play Ranveer Singh.”</p><h2>Jyoti Deshpande recalls the efforts of everyone involved in Dhurandhar</h2><p>For the much-acclaimed project with Aditya Dhar, Deshpande shared how everyone in the crew wanted the film to hit the ground. She shared, "Dhurandhar is a project that overran multiple times, and I indulged it every time. I reinvented it. You know, somehow one part became two parts, but we found a way… there was mad conviction. Everyone was involved. Aditya Dhar, to begin with. And Ranveer Singh, the actor, who went all in and did nothing else for the duration of the film."</p>
