In pics | Aamir Khan celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, performs aarti with son Azad

Ganesh Chaturthi festivity has begun, and the entire Bollywood is celebrating the festival with much fervour. On Sunday, actor Aamir Khan sought blessings from Lord Ganesha as he took part in the festivitiesat his sister Nikhat Khan and her husband Santosh Hegde's residence.

Amir, his youngest son Azad Rao Khan, and other family members took part in the celebrations.

On Sunday, Aamir visited his sister's home and was seen performing aarti with his son Azad. The actor was dressed in a light blue kurta and black pants, while his son Azad was casually dressed in a loose shirt and pants.

Aamir's sister Nikhat is seen standing beside the actor in the pictures.

On Saturday, the actor stepped out with his sons Junaid Khan and Azad Rao Khan to take part in Ganesh Utsav celebrations at Indian billionaire's home.

Apart from Aamir, several Bollywood stars are celebrating the festival with zeal and enthusiasm. Actor Salman Khan was seen performing aarti with his family at the residence of his sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband Aayush Sharma.

Apart from Salman, his father screenwriter Salim Khan, his two brothers, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, were also present at Arpita's home.

A video of Salman performing Ganpati aarti with his niece Ayat has gone viral on the internet.

On the work front, Aamir is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. The film will reportedly be released in December.
