Alia Bhatt looked stunning in two distinct looks as she attended the Hope Gala on Thursday night in London and raised funds for underprivileged Indian youth in collaboration with the Salaam Bombay Foundation.
Comedian Rohan Joshi, musician Harshdeep Kaur, businesswoman and philanthropist Natasha Poonawalla and director Gurinder Chadha were also present at the star-studded event.
A glimpse of Alia’s gorgeous looks was shared by the Mandarin Oriental, the gala’s venue. The versatile actor dazzled in two distinct styles — an ethnic and contemporary look.
Alia wore a burgundy gown and paired it with a Bulgari diamond neckpiece and ring. The necklace consisted of diamonds and a blue sapphire at the center.

For her ethnic look, Alia chose a cream lace sari by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. The 30-year-old vintage sari by the designers was handmade in 1994 and took 3,500 hours of craftsmanship to complete. The blouse had pearl details at the back. Alia completed the look with emerald earrings, dewy makeup, and voluminous hair.
About Hope Gala
Alia played the host for the first time for the Hope Gala on Thursday night. The event was attended by prominent philanthropists and industrialists from both India and the UK.
The beneficiary, Salaam Bombay Foundation, works with Mumbai’s 'at-risk' children through in-school programs that build confidence, and self-esteem, and encourage them to stay focused on education. Alia has been associated with the foundation for some time now.
