Aamir Khan, who recently visited Salim Khan, shared a health update, saying that he is still in the ICU. Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 17, and it was later revealed that he suffered a hemorrhage.
Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan is currently admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. He was taken to the hospital after suffering a minor brain haemorrhage. Ever since he was admitted, the entire Khan family, including his son Salman Khan, has been visiting him. This week, several celebrities, such as Aamir Khan with his girlfriend Gauri Spratt, and Shah Rukh Khan, also visited him.
Aamir, who recently visited Salim Khan, shared a health update, saying that he is still in the ICU.
During a recent event, Aamir spoke to the media and said that he could not meet Salim Khan personally but sat with his family.
"Main Salim Sahab se milne gaya tha. Hum sab dua kar rahe hain ki woh jaldi se theek ho jaayen (I went to meet Salim Sahab, and we are all praying that he recovers soon) because he is in the ICU. I couldn't meet him personally but sat with the family." Aamir said.
Speaking further, the superstar added, “Jo mujhe Alvira ji (Salim's daughter) bata rahi hai, har roz unki health improve ho rahi hai. Hum sab prarthna kar rahe hain ki woh jaldi ghar aa jaayen aur unki health bhi wapas aa jaaye (Alvira ji tells me every day that his health is improving. We are all praying that he returns home soon and that his health is fully restored).”

Soon after Salim Khan’s admission to the hospital, , Dr Jaleel Parkar, who is overseeing his treatment, addressed the media and revealed that the Sholay screenwriter had been put on a ventilator. Later, an inside source told Variety India that Salman Khan and his family were displeased with the doctor’s statement.
“Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers,” a source close to the family shared.
“Salman and his family were displeased with the doctor’s public statement and have clearly conveyed to the authorities that they do not want any further details disclosed," the source added.
