After PM Modi, Shraddha Kapoor beats Priyanka Chopra to become 2nd most followed Indian celebrity on Insta

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is the most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram. He has 217 million followers on the photo and video-sharing platform. The second spot has recently been secured by Shraddha Kapoor, who now has over 92.1 million followers.

Priyanka Chopra is on the third spot with 91.8 million followers. Shraddha previously crossed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's follower count on the platform. He has 91.3 million followers.

Shraddha Kapoor is currently basking in the success of her recently released film, Stree 2, helmed by Amar Kaushik. Currently, the film's overall collection stands at Rs 341.65 crore.

According to some reports, Shraddha received Rs 5 crore for the project, while Rajkummar took Rs 6 crore home. Another report by Free Press Journal revealed that Pankaj Tripathi was paid Rs 3 crore for the project, while Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee got Rs 70 lakh and Rs 55 lakhrespectively. Some reports even claim that Varun Dhawan charged Rs 2 crore for his cameo role in Stree 2.

Stree 2'ssynopsis reads, "The town of Chanderi is being haunted again. This time, women are mysteriously abducted by a terrifying headless entity. Once again, it's up to Vicky and his friends to save their town and loved ones."
