Lamborghini Urus SE debuts in Malaysia

Francesco Scardaoni, Region Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, emphasised the Urus SE's significance. "The Urus was a game-changer, and the Urus SE ushers in an era of Super SUV evolution in the electrification phase," he remarked. This innovative vehicle combines a powerful new design with cutting-edge technology, all while prioritising sustainability.

The Urus SE delivers an unmatched driving experience. The plug-in hybrid system elevates performance and dynamics on any terrain. The innovative electric torque vectoring system and electronic rear differential ensure optimal power distribution and handling.

A re-engineered 4.0 V8 twin-turbo engine works seamlessly with the electric powertrain, generating 620 CV and 800 Nm of torque. The electric motor adds 192 CV and 483 Nm, bringing the total output to a remarkable 800 CV. A strategically placed 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery provides ample electric power. The permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor allows for pure electric driving with a range exceeding 60 km. This versatility makes the Urus SE ideal for urban commutes and exhilarating performance driving.

The Urus SE debuts a new centrally-located electric torque vectoring system. This system distributes driving torque precisely between the axles, maximizing traction and agility in all conditions. An electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the rear axle further enhances handling, providing a super sports car-like driving experience.

These advancements translate into superior performance. The Urus SE boasts the highest torque and power in its class, reaching 800 CV and a staggering 950 Nm of torque. This translates to a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h, solidifying the Urus SE's position as the fastest production car in the Super SUV segment.

The Urus SE offers a wide range of driving modes to suit any situation. The familiar Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes are joined by Neve (snow), Sabbia (sand), and Terra (off-road) for tackling challenging terrains. Additionally, four new Electric Performance Strategies (EPS) provide even more control.

The EV Drive mode unlocks the full potential of the electric motor, offering a silent and efficient driving experience with a range exceeding 60 km. Hybrid mode prioritizes efficiency, seamlessly combining electric and gasoline power for everyday driving. The Recharge mode allows for charging the battery while maintaining performance, while the Performance mode unleashes the full power of the Urus SE in all driving modes, even on off-road terrains.

The Urus SE seamlessly adapts to your needs, adjusting ground clearance, steering, and engine sound based on the chosen driving mode. The air suspension system has been meticulously calibrated to deliver exceptional comfort in Strada mode, enhance agility in Sport mode, and provide maximum stability and control in Corsa mode.
