Kia expands lease program with introduction of EV6
Kia India has launched an experimental lease offer for its flagship product, the EV6, after the program’s success in its first two months of operations. It is a reasonably priced product that is currently available from INR 1.29 lakhs per month. The lease package includes insurance, maintenance including pick and drop facilities, scheduled and unscheduled services and Road Side Assistance (RSA).
This lease offer for the EV6 is specifically designed for medical practitioners with IMA and state medical association memberships, medical facility heads/decision-makers, CA members from ICAI, self-employed, and a few select corporate employees.
The vehicle offers a seating capacity of five people and has up to 708 km of battery range and can be charged to 80% in 18 minutes using a 350kW charger, thus eradicating range anxiety. It has excellent mobility features such as the ability to increase the speed to 100 kilometers per hour within five seconds. The EV6 comes fitted with eight airbags, ADAS level 2, ESC, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera.

Speaking at the Kia Lease program launch, Myung-Sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer at Kia Motors India, stated that he is happy with the kind of response that Kia Lease program received in metro and Tier I cities. He added that the integration of the EV6 further solidifies Kia’s adaptation of new customer requirements as it aims to deliver innovative technologies and environmentally friendly mobility. The positive response to the innovation helps Kia to stand behind the lease program in the future, which is expected to improve the availability of cars from the company to various customers.
In collaboration with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited, Kia India launched the lease program to redefine the ownership experience, offering flexible terms ranging from 24 to 60 months with varied mileage options. Beyond the EV6, the program includes economical leasing options for other popular models such as the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens, starting from INR 17,999 per month.
